Practical follow-up guide

How to track unanswered estimates without a full CRM

A small tracker needs only customer, contact details, project, estimated value, status and next follow-up date. Start with your genuinely outstanding estimates instead of importing every past customer.

Check the due list at a consistent time. Draft a short message, review the customer’s recent replies, and send it yourself. Then record what you did and choose the next date.

Separate open estimates from won and lost work. Open estimate value is potential work, not income. Won estimate value is also not a profit figure or proof that a reminder caused the sale.

Keep a backup and close inactive estimates. LeadLoop offers a free prototype of this workflow; automated sending and payment plans are not currently available.
