Practical follow-up guide
How to write an estimate follow-up email
Start with context: remind the customer which project you quoted. Ask one easy question and invite them to clarify anything they need. Keep the tone helpful and avoid promising a discount or deadline you have not approved.
Example: Hi Alex, I wanted to check whether you had a chance to review the estimate for your garden cleanup. Happy to answer questions or clarify the details. Would you like to discuss the next step? Thanks, Your business.
Choose a follow-up date that fits the customer’s stated timeline. If they ask you to stop, stop. If they reply, respond to their actual question rather than continuing a generic sequence.
LeadLoop’s free draft tool produces a first check-in, a second check-in, or a close-the-loop message. Review the result before sending it from your email app.
