Practical follow-up guide
A simple cleaning quote follow-up checklist
Before following up, check that the estimate explains the property, scope, exclusions and price. A customer who needs clarification is different from a customer who has decided against the work.
Record the date you sent the quote and the next date you plan to follow up. Keep the customer’s timing in mind, especially for move-out cleaning with a fixed date.
Your message can ask: Is the quoted cleaning scope what you had in mind, or would you like anything clarified? Do not invent available booking slots.
After sending, record the follow-up. If the job is booked, mark the estimate won. If the customer declines, mark it lost. These categories track outcomes, not revenue caused by your follow-up.
